Château Picol is distinguished by its original architecture, unparalleled among the castles of the region. Its tall tower is one of its main architectural features. Built at the end of the 19th century, the castle is today in excellent condition, richly decorated and furnished.
The large main living room of over 60 m², with a ceiling approximately 4 meters high, its exposed beams and its imposing fireplace surrounded by stained glass windows — a characteristic work of the architect Madeleine Ursault de Poitiers, who remodeled the castle in the 1960s — as well as the bright and original dining room, offer varied and expressive settings, particularly appreciated for photographic shots.
The rooms, with their generous dimensions, allow for wide-angle shots.
The front steps and the vast terrace in front of the main entrance also constitute remarkable settings.
The castle is surrounded by an enclosed park, adorned with centuries-old trees and a wide variety of decorative shrubs.
Château Picol can be entirely privatized for photo shoots, for periods ranging from a few hours to several days.
