Château Picol's architecture is highly original, and incomparable with other castles in the region. Its large tower is also one of the main features of Château Picol. Built at the end of the 19th century, it is now in perfect condition and richly decorated and furnished.
Its large living room of over 60 m², its 4 m high ceiling with exposed beams and its imposing fireplace surrounded by stained-glass windows (one of the specialties of Madeleine URSAULT, the Poitiers architect who remodeled it in the 1960s) and its very bright and original dining room, are all very interesting backdrops for the photographer
. The rooms are spacious and allow wide-angle shots.
It is surrounded by an enclosed park with century-old trees and a wide variety of species.
Château Picol can be fully privatized for periods ranging from a few hours to several days.
