PRESENTATION
Alla and Christian HUREAU, we are the new (and happy) owners of this extraordinary place.
Alla is an antique dealer; she has her own company, Antik-France, which restores and sells antiques online.www.antik-france.frShe is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, holds a Doctorate in Philosophy, and is a piano teacher. Christian, a former industrialist, oversees the restoration and organizes the transport of the antiques; he is now the estate manager.
For several years, we had been looking for a similar place.
After visiting more than 35 castles, we arrived in Picol, and there, it was love at first sight!
A superb 19th century English-style castle, in very good condition, surrounded by a magnificent park, almost invisible, away from the hustle and bustle, but close to the town hall, the church and essential shops.
Our first visit was in October 2021 and we signed in April 2022, so we certainly didn't waste any time!
When we bought this castle, stays had already been booked by English agencies in this castle.
Throughout the summer, we welcomed English and American tourists for their (and our) pleasure.
Given their admiration and satisfaction, we decided to continue and further develop this activity.
Such a unique place, in such an extraordinary setting, deserves to welcome guests.

OUR OBJECTIVES
Regarding the castle and its grounds:
- We have already redecorated the castle with authentic 19th-century objects and furniture and will continue to do so.
- Our 3 hectares of parkland with century-old trees will be remodeled and supplemented with new species.
For the activity.
- Open the castle all year round but in different forms.
- Summer rental of the entire castle by the week, with several options.
- The rest of the year, in bed and breakfasts with full board for gastronomic and tourist stays.
