Owners since 2022, we are proud to share this haven of peace with you and to let you enjoy the park during your stay at Château Picol.
It's also home to many of the animals and birds that make this place so magical: rabbits, squirrels, jays, woodpeckers, hoopoes and more. Under the roof of the castle's high tower live owls, whose peace and quiet we preserve. In the morning, you can see roe deer in the woods behind the castle.
We also have rare insects: the Kite Wren and Praying Mantis.
We admire them and protect all the inhabitants of our estate.
The pool is privately owned, and its generous dimensions of 4.5 meters wide by 8 meters long provide ample space for swimming enthusiasts and family water games alike. With depths ranging from 1.20 to 1.60 metres, there's something for everyone, from children splashing around to adults enjoying a leisurely swim.
To guarantee optimum comfort, the pool is heated from May to the end of September, extending the swimming season and offering moments of relaxation even as the evenings begin to cool. The water temperature, maintained at around 28°C, invites swimmers to immerse themselves in its soothing waters, providing a sensation of well-being and relaxation.
