Madeeson & Co at Chateau Picol
The band Madeeson & Co gave a concert at Château de Picol in LENCLOÎTRE on Wednesday evening, July 10, between 6:30 and 8:30 pm.
Their songs from the '30s and '50s were a real hit.
The event was organized by Grand Châtellerault and the Mairie de LENCLOITRE.
We'd like to extend our warmest thanks to Véronique BOIREL of Grand Châtellerault and Henri COLIN, Mayor of LENCLOÎTRE, and their respective teams, for the tremendous help they gave us.
The concert was free, but registration was compulsory. Over 200 people turned out in the château grounds to enjoy a concert by the very talented duo Madeeson & Co.
Time went by very quickly, too quickly, and Madeeson & Co went from strength to strength with hits from the 30s and 50s.
For many, it was a chance to visit the park of Château de Picol, with its century-old trees.
Many inhabitants of Lencloître and the surrounding area are unaware of the existence of this treasure.
We look forward to repeating the experience.
