Stay in a natural setting, in the heart of a 19th century castle, while remaining close to the main sites of the Loire Valley and the Futuroscope park.
Two rooms, two atmospheres
The "Love & Hummingbirds" complex comprises two rooms with very distinct characters:
- "Love" — a spacious room with a view of the park, where the antique furniture, the silk four-poster bed and the 18th-century tapestry create an atmosphere of noble serenity and the charm of a castle of yesteryear;
- "Hummingbirds" — a bright and welcoming room, reminiscent of a summer veranda, with large windows overlooking the pool and two separate beds, ideal for children or teenagers.
Comfort for the whole family
This is a particularly suitable solution for couples travelling with children or teenagers. The two bedrooms are connected by a private hallway and share a bathroom with double vanity and shower. A separate toilet, located nearby, is reserved exclusively for the occupants of these rooms.
Views and atmosphere
From the "Amour" room, the view opens onto the castle grounds; from "Colibris," onto the swimming pool and surrounding greenery. This combination allows each guest to enjoy their own private space while maintaining the comfort of a shared stay.
Family evening at the castle
Upon request, we serve dinner in the château's dining room, near the fireplace. Prepared according to Château Picol's traditions, this dinner is accompanied by the finest wines of Poitou and the Loire Valley. For families with children, we also offer dishes that are sure to please even the youngest guests.
